Artist description
Road Trip has had only one goal since their very first show. Play high energy music on a national level. This goal involves the securing of a major label recording contract. Road Trip has been making continuous strides in this direction in a variety of ways. We play over 135 live shows a year to some of the biggest (and constantly growing) crowds in Wisconsin. Road Trip has also released three CD's and has a fourth recording coming out in early 2001. Our 1999 disc "Cowboys and Maniacs" featured the song UNGLUED which got to #4 overall at MP3.COM and #6 at Garageband.com! Road Trip is a unique musical experience - this is a direct result of its members and their wide variety of musical influences and experiences. The most striking aspect of Road Trip is the dual lead vocal work of Rich Plath and Amy Johnson. Road Trip: Playing music of the past with the energy of the present and writing songs for the future. |

Press Reviews
Road Trip's CD "Cowboys and Maniacs" reminds me of all the reasons why I started playing music. It's full of rock & roll energy, excitement, and most importantly, passion! The playing and production is first rate, and the songs capture a great blend of classic sounds and modern energy. Take a Road Trip - you won't be disappointed!
