Artist description An Australian recording artist who has worked through independent labels, Ray Cologon’s music has been difficult to classify. It's rock music, but it shows some roots in folk and blues (and maybe sometimes a hint of jazz). The recordings combine melody and textured sound. The lyrics are generally tightly structured and go all the way from whimsy to magic realism.
