Artist History
Nothing Heavier Than A Car On My Head was formed in 1995 (although they have been insulting people since 1990), by Phil J. and Chris T. in an attempt to try and keep an eye on each other. Life is a game and you want to keep an eye on the players, ya know.
Since there immaculate conception in 1995, the band has played countless dates in various positions in the Eastern United States, including Bill's House.
Both members of the band and their members had
humble beginnings. Phil J. and Chris T. both
played in Simplistic Euphoria, a regular grandma
yappin', granpa slappin', kick yourself in the
ass for laughin' adult contemporary act.
After the demise of Simplistic Euphoria, Phil J.
went on to play with acts such as, The Guy Smileys.
Ajax and the Asteroids, George Galaxy and the Razzles,
and The Flaming Tomato Asses. After Simplistic Euphoria,
Chris took a break from music and instead directed
his energy towards his toes.
During a wild alcoholic binge, Phil J. climbed
into his '76 Pinto, and inadvertently smeared
Chris' girlfriend all over main street. The
apologetic Phil and woeful Chris were reunited at
Faith Hospital where Chris was trying to identify
the deceased. A chord was struck between the two,
and comic genius spewed forth. Neither Chris T.
nor Phil. J. could abort this second birth.
