Artist description Life of the Mind is a very experimental project which consists of MIDI, guitars, sequences, strange samples, live drums, haunting vocals, and a lot of emotions. Much of the music has a lot of industrial rock feel but we try to be creative and create sounds and music like nothing any one has heard before.

Artist History The band started over the summer of 1997 when Tom Houston was writing a lot of his own material along with his brother Steve Houston on drums. By using a multi-track recorder Tom was able to record full songs with guitar, drums and bass. Some of the recordings also use computer generated sounds and sequenced to make things more interesting.
