Artist description
The East Pacific Symphony and RMA Music were created to perform the music of Richard Audd and other contemporary composers and arrangers.The EPS is a complete electronic duplication of an 80-piece symphonic orchestra with all of the expected subtleties of live musicians.The name was derived from the original synthesizer setup that used an Ensoniq EPS synthesizer at its core. Today, many different synths and sounds are used. |

Artist History
The East Pacific Symphony was developed in 1992. Richard Audd, its 'conductor', and his company, RMA Music, have released three albums.The first is a Christmas album titled, 'a new light ~ christmas'. This album is classically arranged and performed.The second album is titled 'Somewhere Over...'. It is a compilation of songs from Broadway and film that have special meaning to the gay community.'Somewhere Over...' was released to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the Stonewall rebellion. The newest album, titled "For Any Season", contains some classical favorites that are appropriate for any time of the year. Watch for our fourth album coming in early 2001. |

Group Members
Richard Audd, a native of Oklahoma and now living in Los Angeles, is the sole creator, composer, and performer. Richard was the First Prize winner in the 1997 Creative Inspire Open MIDI Contest, sponsored by Creative Labs. He is a graduate of Oklahoma Baptist University and the Eastman School of Music. |
