Artist History Donkeypunch was formed in Kunitachi, Tokyo in 1996, as 'Lupin-band', by the member of the Modern Jazz Society of Hitotsubashi Univ. While playing Jazz, they preferred to play 8 beat music such as Mondo grosso, Groove collective, and 'The theme of Lupin the 3rd'. In 1999, the member graduated school,and they changed their name as 'Donkeypunch' and started playing their original music on the street.
