Artist History
Crash Seven spent 1999 touring in support of their self-titled debut album "Crash 7", which met with much more enthusiasm and support than expected; the concert for the albums' debut was performed to a standing-room-only crowd, as well as drawing the attention of a number of recording labels. The year 2000 found Crash Seven once again playing concerts around the Southeast, in support of their 3-song demo entitled "Interrupt The System". The new project also met with rave reviews, providing the band with radio airplay, and found some fans in other countries as well, receiving a review from STRUTTER magazine, an online and printed magazine from Holland. 2001 found C7 back in the studio, but this time recording their 3-song demo entitled "Interrupt The System". The latter part of 2001 and early 2002 was spent supporting the new demo. C7 during this time changed their vocal lineup, putting guitarist Donnie Rae Parker in the Lead Vocal spot. This gave the band an entirely new "edgy" sound, which met with immediate success.

Press Reviews
C7 REVIEWS BY OTHER ARTISTS....Review by: adam kravitz; Crash Seven has an interesting twist on the alternative scene. I like the fact that they do not compromise their ideas or beliefs. Nice tunes:) Keep it up. Motivate ////////// Review by: James Renfroe; I listened to "Face of God" last time and that song is just AWESOME. This time I checked out "Take Me As I Am", another great song. One of the interesting things about this band is that they have an uncanny ability to write great music that you could actually play in front of someone and not have to worry about what's going to come out of the singers mouth next. COMMENTS: \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\ CYBRO RADIO \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\ (June 2, 2000) Hello from Cybro Radio.... You have a beautiful site. Below is a copy of the review. I'll post it to my website at:http://www.angelfire.com/ma/strutteraor. Keep me informed on any news around your band. Greetings, Gabor Kleinbloesem, Editor of Strutter'zine. INTERRUPT THE SYSTEM-CRASH SEVEN (CRASH 7 MUSIC) CRASH SEVEN is a Christian Melodic Poprock band from Winfield, Al, USA. 'Interrupt the system' features 3 songs. Opener "Take Me As I Am" is a very nice uptempo melodic poprocker in the style of the last NELSON record, yet with a bit more '90s attitude and sometimes akin to MATCHBOX 20, THIRD EYE BLIND and those kind of acts. Next track "Hide" is a 90s typed semi ballad. Closing track "Face of God" is another nice uptempo melodic poprocker (with a '90s groove) and features a good melodic chorus. I hope to hear more of this band in the future! (Points: 7.0 out of 10)--------------------------------------------------------------------------------CRASH SEVEN is currently playing shows around the Southeastern U.S. in promotion of their new material, the "Interrupt The System" (2000 demo), as well as promoting the CRASH SEVEN project. Though currently unsigned, the band is drawing the attention of a number of record labels. A chance to witness CRASH SEVEN in concert is an experience that you won’t soon forget. After 10 months of steady live performances promoting the CRASH SEVEN album, the bands' stage presence and delivery has catapulted them to the next level. As this year begins, their schedule is rapidly becoming full as the bands popularity has increased dramatically, especially in the Southeast. A chance to see them in concert is a treat that you won't want to miss! As their catchy slogan says, "Ladies and Gentlemen...PREPARE YOURSELF...for CRASH SEVEN!!!!!!! |
