Artist History The band formed in the industrial wastes of Teesside with an unquenchable desire to express the horror and loathing they derived from their surroundings and the simultaneous repulsion and attraction of urban decay and dereliction. Taking influences more from film and literature than music the band created an abortive embryonic form of their style, the "Corridors" demo, which secured a record deal with Rage of Achilles Records. The true contortion began in earnest with debut album "The Ichneumon Method" which achieved album of the month in Terrorizer Magazine for May 03.
