Artist History
One Trick Pony was originally established in 1998 by Drummer Jason Nelson, Bass player Steve Nelson, and Guitarist Christopher Sheline. Styles of music varied from jazz and blues to basic rock. The band grew to be a seven-piece ensemble including one trumpet, a sax, and two trombones. Lacking a vocalist was not a problem being as the band was strictly instrumental. After only one year One Trick Pony was put to a halt when its horn section deteriorated thus discontinuing the band…..until recently. In 2001 the original three members decided it was time to take the gloves off and bring back what was once all so good. Only this time it would be a little different. Introducing lead Vocalist Jimmy Hart, the 4-piece band was off to a great start. And now as the year 2002 is upon us there is another addition to the band with Barak Dorr replacing Steve Nelson on Bass.
