Artist description
Hailing from the great state of Maryland, home of such bands as Good Charlotte and SR-71, it isn't very surprising that WORTH THE WAIT is slowly climbing to the top. "We're a lot different from other bands" boasts singer/bassist Joseph Clay even though he speaks the truth. WORTH THE WAIT is unorthodoxily made up of two lead singers, Clay and Kennedy. Kennedy also supplies crunching rhythym guitar while Clay's bass work pays homage to jazz and funk music ("Most bass players these days play with picks. I always say that if you can't play the bass with your fingers, you shouldn't be playing the bass" says Clay). Not to mention Daniel Morrissey's sweet lead guitar licks over Adam Larsons tight, down-to-earth drumming. WORTH THE WAIT is truly an original band, combining old Cave In with new Cave In to make a sound all their own. Look out for their debut EP to be released on WIXS? Records this fall! |
