Artist History
Ahern's fourth album is El Dorado,a collaborative effort following his divergence into the New Age music scene with Along the Edge (1983) and Revelation (1992). El Dorado is a striking mix of uptempo guitar-piano-organ-sax-flute pop/rock and softer ballads reminiscant of bands like the Allman Brothers, TGD and Steely Dan. The standouts include the single "I Believe," on which Ahern is joined by Lachlan Kane and Michael Reich on vocals and the title ballad "El Dorado," a darker, more symphonic song about the eternal quest for true love....
