Artist History
One day in early 2000, Michael D. Temple approached Ella Blame via e-mail, telling her that he loved her voice and music, and that he had composed a tune especially for her. Ella really loved that tune and vocalized it immediately. The result of this initial collaboration is the beautiful song Dance With Me - Temple Mix. Shortly thereafter, Ella flew to Toronto in Canada where she met Michael D. Temple and Brian Farrel (guitar). The three musicians performed during the North By North East 2000 festival without ever having had a chance of rehearsing. Their performance was a great artistic success and much acclaimed by the public. Since then, Ella Blame and Michael D. Temple have intensified their collaboration, composing new songs (e.g., How Things Have Changed) that once may be considered milestones in modern pop music. |

Press Reviews
"... At times Blame evokes a wider-ranging Eartha Kitt or a more in-tune Lotta Lenya, but there is really no comparison that would do her justice. And she does some wild experimental things with her voice that you'll never hear on an opera stage or a Mariah Carey album. The avant-garde, non-dance pieces with their moody electronics are highly enjoyable as well." -- Jon Sobel |
