Artist description
THE FIRST BRAZILIAN STONER DOOM ROCK BAND! The band started in the winter of 1993 in the extreme south of Brazil, formed by ex-members of death metal bands called Nuctemeron and Skull Grinder. Since the beginning the proposal was to play the heaviest metal, mixing the inspiration of 70's classic bands with the aggressiveness and weight of the 90's bands. Soon the band called the attention, being distinguished in the national scene for making a little explored style and being based on very strong compositions. The influences of Captain Beyond, Black Sabbath, Danzig, Cathedral and Corrosion of Conformity were present in each riff of musics. The formation always suffered many modifications, mainly of vocalists. This constant rotation did not allow the band made many gigs. However three demostration cds had been recorded. "Drizzle" in 1994, "The Good, the Bad and the Ugly" in 1996 and "Hellhouse Blues" in 1997, when they started to call theirself "Drizzle Experience". These works had much repercussion in the national metallic/stoner scene through publications as Rock Brigade and Roadie Crew, making the band to obtain too many admirers and fans. In the period between 1998 and 2001 the band stopped its activities, with the leader guitarist Sergio dedicating itself only its another band called Furia. In 2002 the Drizzle Experience is retaking its activities, composing stuff for a new demonstration cd and many gigs. Certainly the band will arise very strong and will retake the space that belongs to them. A shady, aggressive and creative band who assimilates different influences but always trod the good, old and rebellious path of heavy metal rock.

Press Reviews
"At a time where the stoner rock is in evidence, the excellent Drizzle Experience release a great demo cd, intitled "Hellhouse Blues". The style is well-known: vocal almost aphonous like Ozzy Osbourne of the 70's decade, guitars distorted played with weight of Tony Iommi, drums and bass loaded and powerful than Bill Ward and Geezer Butler, respectively. It will be that the name "Black Sabbath" came to the mind of the reader? Don't?!? Well, my friend, only hearing this cd demo to understand all the furious energy that emanates of two musics that compose it. And before some wannabe comes to say bullshit, the Drizzle Experience do not sound nothing dated. Exactly the opposite! It is rock'n'roll in raw state! You will be delighted hearing "An Abyss on the Oscilloscope!."

"The fenomenal heavy metal with high doses of 70's practised by the Drizzle Experience band will go to please in full fans of Black Sabbath, Cathedral, General Witchfinder and others of the style. The musicians reign absolute and conscientious. The weight is present and the small psycadelic doses, in this case, sounds interesting. Bass, drums and some inclusions of harmonica are perfect for nostalgic or new fans, who don't know as were the metal at that magical era. If the band wants to recover the lost time, made right and approved! Is it retro? Yes, but it is very good and unfortunaty there are only two songs, the listener wants to hear more than 13:50 minutes."
Ricardo Batalha - Roadie Crew Magazine - N°17 - october/99
"Is good to see the bands using with intelligence its few features of production to release a good work. All well placed, well incased, making people to forget the poor production. The Drizzle band shows a heavy sound, with 70's touchs and excellent job of guitars that remember the old style of Deep Purple. Without a doubt, a strong name for the saturated national heavy scene".".
