Artist description
Zen Cohen (also known by here Hebrew name, Ziona) is a dynamic performer who travels frequently from Israel to the U.S. to perform, teach and to lead prayer. She uses songwriting to uncover the longing for truth and divinity in the impluses and desires of the human heart Her music is informed by an ongoing study of Persian classical singing. She is a multi-instrumentalist who plays guitar, piano, riq (an Arabic tambourine) and the Persian santur. |
