Artist description
Wiremouth is a blend of many different musical backgrounds, each member coming from a separate unsuccessful band to form a distinct heavy rock sound. All the band members sharing such influences as The Deftones, Staind, Nothingface, Slipknot, Mudvayne, Metallica, and Coal Chamber, it's no wonder the band has a sound all its own.
The band got its start when drummer Spyke and guitarist Jake had a Korn cover band. They decided this didn't work out, and formed the metal outfit Synapse. With various lead vocalists and a plethera of bassists, they decided that Synapse was dead. After experimenting with some local talent, Jake and Spyke decided that they had magic, and had to stick together with their sound. Now all that was left was vocals and bass. This is when former Dylusion singer Tim Paige came into the picture.
Tim saw the ad that the band had posted in Daddy's Junky Music stores and called Jake. With an unsuccessful attempt to hook up, but finally meeting a month later, they found beautiful music together. Spyke, Jake, and Tim had something going, and they decided to call it Wiremouth.
It was then that the band set up its first show that would culminate at The Knights Of Columbus. Now all they needed was a bassist. They called upon former Synapse bassist, Josh, who had improved greatly. His performance, skill, and all around talent had moved to a level much higher than anyone expected. Now Wiremouth is complete.
Wiremouth is a symbol of pain and torture. It is everything that everyone must endure in their lives to survive. It is the struggle just to live a happy life. Everyone must feel Wiremouth.
Wiremouth lives up to no stereotype, no lie, no false advertisements. We live by all of our own personal mottos and come together as one. We are not affected by the negative affects of mind-altering substances. We loathe drugs and alcohol
As Wiremouth prepares to enter your town, be prepared for an intense live show, some amazing music, and a few surprises along the way. |
