Nate Albert (former guitarist of the Mighty Mighty Bosstones) recorded the 13 tracks that make up the Kickovers first album, Osaka, incorporating straight-up punk, new wave and plenty of three-minute pop songs. The band features bassist Mikey Welsh (ex-Weezer), Joe Sirois (Mighty Mighty Bosstones) and guitarist Johnny Rioux, as well as the production of Dave Minehan (Paul Westerberg, the Neighborhoods). d |
