Artist History
Terry Robin Prill has been writing since the age
of 16 and has more than a hundred songs to his credit. His earliest
influences included Bob Dylan, Michael Nesmith,
America, Aztec Two-Step and the folk/rock music of
the late 60s and early 70s. He developed his writing
style by taking his works into local coffeehouses,
small clubs, and pubs where he would share his
music and would then evaluate its reception.
These experiences brought him recognition in his
local area, but his heart was still more into the
crafting of his writing rather than the performing.
During those years Terry received songwriting
awards from organizations such as THE AMERICAN
SONG FESTIVAL competitions out of Los Angeles.
With numerous trips to Nashville in 1990's
his musical influences were broadened to include
the likes of Mary-Chapin Carpenter, Skip Ewing,
Nancy Griffith,and Townes Van Zandt.
