Artist History
Streamlet, or Mikael Carlsson, and formerly known as MiCa, started out as a tracker musician in 1996, but did not release his first song on the Internet until 1998. During this period as a tracker, Mikael learned a lot of things and got to know many good friends through the Internet. In late 2001, Mikael decided to advance musically with the help of advanced gear to make better quality music, since tracker programs have many limitations. With new equipment and new inspiration, Mikael is very hopeful about his future. He´s now transforming into Steamlet...
The equipment Mikael uses is Reason (a great music program with a really professional look and great possibilities - please visit http://propellerheads.se/ for more info about the program) and a Roland ED PC-180A MIDI Keyboard controller. The software itself contains a great library of good-quality samples, but Mikael also uses his own sample collection, and also edits some samples using Sound Forge 5.0.
Briefly, you could say as an unknown source once said about Mikael: "He´s still learning and playing with the music, and you can expect a lot from this artist in the future."
