Artist History Born sometime in the 70's on earth day in a hospital so he could be close to his mom... (he doesnt live with her anymore). Formerly known as "the renegade poet", Jef has broken out of that identity (mainly because mp3.com is broken and lost his identity) he now goes by "the devil". The Devil grew up in Kansas City (the midwest) among people that used words like "sodapop" and "frigerater"... then he moved to St. Louis (also somewhere in the midwest) where everyone he knew spent most of their spare time chaining large dogs to cinder-blocks that were also being used to hold up the front end of a metallic gold firebird with white pin-stripes. He then moved to Albuquerque, NM (they actually have "USA" on their license plates, so as not to confuse New Mexico, USA with some other New Mexico), he currently resides in Tucson, AZ where he has spent the last 7 years writing, performing his spoken word and washing dishes. Defunct Affiliations: Current Projects: 89-90 Bassist - The Condemned 92-Present Voice - The Devil (AKA The Renegade Poet) 90-90 Bassist - Ghange 02-Present Voice - MC Widow VS. Jef moved on to being a solo performer for the better part of a decade. With his second album completed, he has gone back to an expeirmental phase of improvistational music and spoken word featuring a rich tapestry of darkwave and 80's punk.
