Artist description
Gor Delta plays acoustic slide guitar in the traditional 1930's and 1940's blues vein as well as modern electric slide blues guitar. On top of the guitar, he mouths his own phonetic sounds that conjure all sorts of images of traditional blues lyrics, without actually saying the words. Gor Delta is well versed in the old country blues from Robert Johnson to Blind Willie Johnson and Blind Willie McTell, and also the more modern blues of B.B. King, Muddy Waters and John Lee Hooker. |
