    Artist History
From the Quinte West area of Ontario Canada, Empty Method was formed in early 2001 as a result of 2 bands losing members and coming together like Voltron to become one. The building process of Empty Method began in 1997 when Michael joined Jamie, Tony Nguyen and Phil Coker to form a little garage band. The line up consisted of Jamie and Phil on guitar, Tony on percussion and Michael on bass. Later it was decided that the band needed vocals so Michael filled that position while Phil took the bass role. After a few months of doing nothing Jamie, Michael and Phil left Tony. Soon the position of percussion was assumed by Jared Benn forming Fork In The Face. Once again months of nothing led to Fork In The Face dissolving. In 2000 two bands were soon formed. Michael joined Curtis Weekes(percussion), Justin Goodwin(bass) and Rod Steed(guitar) to form Fifth Column. Eventually Rod moved away so Justin took over guitar while Andy Bonnar took bass and a second guitarist was added in Phil Coker. Months later, after playing only one show, Mike, Andy and Curtis left Fifth Column in mid 2001. While Fifth Column was in the making, Jamie had went on to form the band Moloko, later renamed to Empty Method. The line up included Jamie on guitar, John Corkum playing bass, Andrew Burley on percussion and Cory Carr as vocalist. After a few months Andrew left leaving John to fill the percussion spot and a new bassist was added. In the end Cory left Empty Method leaving them without a voice. In time the decision was made for Andy, Curt and Michael to join Jamie and John to form a new reborn version of Empty Method. This new version consisted of Jamie and Curtis on guitar, Andy on bass, John doing percussion and Michael as the voice. Watch out now. To Be Continued...
