Artist History
formed in late 2000, clearmotive consisted of Nicholas Mendola, Steve Carveth, Joe Hooley, Bob Kiekbusch and Peter Jay. After recording a relatively successful modern rock type demo/EP, titled "Against Shooting Stars," guitarist Carveth left the band to be replaced by Nick Tardif. The band has since recorded its first EP for Rainstorm Productions, entitled "Words As Weapons," which was officially released on February 8, 2002. In late March of 2002, Jay left the band to be replaced by longtime friend Rob Ruffino. The current line-up is spending the summer touring and recording a new EP, expected for release early this fall. keep an eye on www.clearmotive.net for details. |
