Artist description Everything you hear, with the exception of the drum loop in the background of the song "extinction", was produced and performed by me. Most of the loops were created by taking my performance of an instrument, cutting it up, and reassembling it to create a new vibe. In some cases a single chord or even just one note of a piano was used to create the final groove. If additional effects were desired or needed, I took the track into another software package and further edited it. Once created, the loops were then brought into the Vegas software package and structured into a formal composition. I then performed the various solos and melodies over the top of this composition. Finally, the tracks were output to create the song that you hear on the disk. A couple of tracks, however, came together differently. "Sonatina di Paola" and "The Spider and the Fly" were basic piano performances with guitar tracks overdubbed in single takes. These songs represent my experiment in "self-sampling" mixed with emotional "live" performances.
