Artist History
Originating in the dorms of Cal State Long Beach, Rich W., Rich Y., and then former singer, Beau Dimos came together to form (neverdrown) in early 2000. Later that year, the band recruited Liam Ferris as bassist. After brief spurts of recording, the band decided to part ways with lead singer, Beau D. in August of 2001. With a new found determination, the three remaining members of (neverdrown) changed their name to Stare Down Orion (named after the constellation), and recruited Adkin's Rain lead singer, Jean Hsu as second guitarist and vocalist in December '01. Shortly after, the band went into the studio and recorded their first full length CD, "One-Fourteen." Currently, the band plays shows throughout the southern California area at legendary venues such as the Chain Reaction, and The Gig, in Hollywood. |
