Artist description
Since Prod's first show in April of 2002, they have steadily built an ever-growing fanbase - through constant concerts, media exposure, and word of mouth. Prod has been featured in many east central Indiana newspaper articles, heard on 94.7 WFBQ (Indianapolis), many smaller central Indiana college stations, interviewed and promoted on 103.3 WRZX (Indianapolis) by Adam Ritz, and featured on central Indiana television program, "The Now Gen" (Fox 59 and WB 4). Prod is also active in their hometown of New Castle, IN, by hosting the annual Black Summerfest and Prodfest benefit concerts.
After recording in November of 2002, Prod's debut "Against My Will" was released on March 25th, 2003. In addition to local and regional acts, Prod has shared the stage with many national acts, including Maverick Recording Artists Unloco, Sony recording artists Memento, and Factory 81. Prod has been compared to many types of heavy music, from the powerful rhetoric of The Rollins Band, the tribal rhythms and monstrous riffs of Soulfly, to the atmosphere and bombast of the Deftones.

Press Reviews
"This band I totally dug. Super killer crunch and heavy melodic metal a'la Crowbar/Prong rhythmic thing. They grab the listener's attention by using super heavy riffing and yet keep catchy rhythms. Hardcore vocals semi-hatebreedish. This band switches from quiet to super heavy riffs easily and smoothly. This was also their first performance. Look out for these guys!" - Emmett (www.lafayettemusic.net).
"I'm fu**in' hooked! Killer, guys!" - Garr, fwm.com
