Artist History
There's an exciting Gospel Artist, whose powerful voice is causing people to take notice and her name is Michelle Gold. She is bound to create a loud and crazy buzz in the music industry - full of charisma, off-the-wall energy, and a passion that will captivate large and diverse audiences all over.

Michelle is a singer/songwriter who is a Jewish believer in Jesus. At age 15, Michelle was introduced to Jesus as the Messiah. Though her family rejected her newfound faith, she was compelled to follow Jesus. Yet she was soon distracted by the cares of this world and began pursuing a career as a Pop singer, opening for such legendary singers as Gladys Knight and winning the coveted Lena Horne Scholarship.

However at age 19, Michelle realized there was more to life than just singing love songs. In 1995, she committed her life to Christ and began singing for God, writing her own brand of powerful, dynamic, Christ-centered music. Michelle left the Pop music world, abandoned her life of emptiness and despair, and now sings a new song unto the LORD. Similarities will be drawn between Michelle Gold, Mariah Carey and Crystal Lewis. But Michelle's voice lies in a deeper range that matches her soulful style perfectly.

Michelle has ministered at numerous Christian festivals, coffeehouses and services throughout the Northeast. Some notable venues include being a featured artist at The Long Island Christian Music Festival 1998 - 2000, the Walk In Love For Jesus, Eisenhower Park, LI, the Jones Beach Bandshell, Samantha's Li'l Bit of Heaven Coffeehouse, East Northport, NY, and the Sudan Memorial Service held at the United Nations, New York City. She was also given the opportunity to open for Integrity Records Recording Artist and Worship Leader Paul Wilbur in Highland Park, NJ.

Most recently, Michelle brought the audience to tears with her soul-stirring voice and her awe-inspiring song "To Heaven" as a Finalist of the McDonald's GospelFest held at Town Hall NYC, appearing with artists such as Hezekiah Walker, Cissy Houston, & Melba Moore. Prior to that, Michelle was sponsored by the Danish Israeli Mission to tour the country of Denmark ministering in song at well-known schools and churches which culminated in a TV Interview and which is still being aired in Copenhagen today. And in November 2000, Michelle was named First Runner-up in the Contemporary Christian Music category of the Spotlight 2001 Regional Competition in Nashville, sponsored by the Gospel Music Association.

Michelle says, "My vision is to build up the body of Christ by encouraging Christians to a closer walk with Jesus so they can make a difference in this lost and dying world. I want to see people's lives radically changed by the saving and healing power of God, especially those who may have suffered from abuse in their lives. People need to know that Christ is real and that it's all about having a relationship with Him."
