Artist History Prepared to drop a bombshell on the music world with their debut release on maverick records, Home Town Hero, is ensuring they make an impact on the world of rock n’ roll. For the past five years music has been luke warm. There are a crop of new bands that are popping up that will change everything. “We hope to be one of the front runners in that movement” says lead vocalist Aaron Bruno. The group hailing from Thousand Oaks, California, grew up together yet always ended up playing in different musical circles. Finally, over a year ago they have joined forces and have since built a loyal fan base. With two west coast tours under there belt, the band got a major boost by being added to last years Vans Warped Tour. It was then that the guys decided to give it all up: there jobs and educations were dropped for there guitars, drums, and dreams of being professional musicians. Home Town Hero’s will undoubtedly be a major force in rock. “It’s heavy when you want it to be” “ and unpredictably soft when you need it to be” admits Aaron. After completing an infectiously hot demo, the band quickly inked a deal with Maverick Recording Company in the winter of 2001.
