Artist History
The birth of the band began in November of 2001 when cole (vocals), after five years of producing solo material, realized that he himself lacked the musical resources needed to produce the style of metal he wanted to. He asked long-time friends Josh (drums) and Matt (guitars) if they would be interested in working on the project. After spending several years in various local bands, Matt and Josh realized that working on this project would a natural progression for the both of them and it was from this day that the band known as Frag came into existance with the single goal of creating the most brutal and depraved form of grindcore ever concieved by man.
After spending two months writing material, the trio decided to record their debut self-titled ep and on Jan. 12 ’02, using Cole’s home studio, ejaculated out seven spirts of sick and brutal grindcore.
What does the future have in store for Frag? For now, the band is looking for labels to release their ep or for bands to do a split ep with. After that, only time can tell
