Artist History
Cistern formed originally as a punk band by the name of Arm the Homeless in the spring of 1999. Since then many changes have taken place. The original members of Arm the Homeless were Joey, Aaron, Brett, and Josh. Arm the Homeless began to write a few songs, but guitarist Josh left in order to go to college. Guitarist John was picked up towards the end of 2000. Brett left the band during the summer of 2001 because of school. That left only Joey, John and Aaron. Joey, John, and Aaron have worked hard through the summer and picked up bass player Dan. Until now, they have stayed away from the studio. They are currently working on a demo and a cd. The music that you hear on mp3.com is all demo music. |

Press Reviews
Review of My Life to You: The guitars are very natural and soothing. Nice chord changes and the song is singable. I really like the gentle melody! The chemistry between singer and other guitarist is just right. You never appreciate chemistry until you hear two talented people NOT listening to each other as they play... My Life to You is a great song. I could see someone driving an empty country highway singing along to it, or someone getting married to it. Anyone can relate to it. |
