Artist History
Pop-rock songstress Beki Hemingway made
her debut performing for the neighborhood kids
on top of garbage cans at the age of 5. A well
travelled Marine brat, she soon learned to over-
come shyness and feel comfortable in the
spotlight.
Beki honed her dynamic vocal skills working
recording sessions, and singing and touring
as a backup vocalist with other artists.
In 1997, she left quirky punkabilly band This
Train to go solo, and now works with husband/
guitarist/producer/co-writer Randy Kerkman.
Last year, she performed about 150 shows,
with highlights including shows with Lowen &
Navarro, Aimee Mann, Shawn Colvin, Pierce
Pettis, and Vigilantes of Love.
Her new cd is expected to be out on Salt Lady
Records by summer.
