Artist description
Laura Bond of Westword Magazine describes Andy Ard & The Meantime’s style as “harmonic, strummy and classic, with a Buddy Holly kind of pop sensibility and Americana-style melodicism…the band's live shows indicate that Ard hasn't strayed too far from the course he charted with Rachel & Andy, though he's filled out the instrumentation and roughened up the edges this time around.”
The sound of the band is best described as a perfect soundtrack to a wild night out. Andy's got something to say, and he says it with style. |

Artist History
An Atlanta native, Ard performed in Athens and around the southeast as half of Rachel & Andy, a duo way too energetic for their acoustic trappings. Relocating to Denver in 2000, and warmly embraced by the press there, they soon set out for separate projects.
Andy went on to form and front a band much like the ones he'd led years before - a no-nonsense, tight combo in which the song is the thing. |
