Artist History
Consisting of Brendan O'Keefe on guitar and lead
vocals, Frank Cecchinelli on drums and backing
vocals and Brian Becker on bass. The three grew up
together on Cape Cod and started playing together as
a trio in the beginning of 2000. Brendan began playing
the guitar at thirteen and combines his many influences
into a style all his own. Frank began playing when he
was given a drum set by The Pact while growing up
in Waltham. He then moved to the Cape and began
playing with Brendan while in high school.
Later they moved to Vermont and start the
Alruda-Downing Band. In late 1999 they moved back
to the Cape and began playing with Brian who had
just moved home from California where he was living
in the mountains practicing his bass. Thus Alruda
was born. Three months later they began playing
gigs in the cape cod area & are now begining to spread
their unique sound around the northeast. On occasion
Alruda becomes a four piece when John Carafoli(Slow Children)
plays percussion. |
