Artist History Ven responded to an add in Kerrang in the summer of 2001. After an intial period of getting to know each other, the name AllOneSurface came into being in September 2001 and the band started writing songs. Tris joined in Jan 2002.

Press Reviews From Indigo Flow Ezine: There was a time, not to long ago when the words British, emo and band could be easily shortened to "shit." Not so any more though, we seem to be getting the hang of it and bands like Hundred Reasons are paving the way for others. One of these other being All One Surface. Formed this summer, after three members of the band advertised for a singer and only Ven replied, the band have come a long way,as this 8-song demo proves. The band sit firmly in the Sense Field/Texas is the Reason area of emo but this is not to say that they are copying anyone. Ven's talent for songwriting shines throughout, with subtly placed keyboards and layered vocals. If they ever get off their lazy arses and play some gigs I would recommend taking a look. 4/5
