Artist History the surgeon generals are a hard rock band that has been a development of non-stop aggression. From Chandler, Arizona, chris and geoff, who are brothers, formed this band in 1997. Dedicated to the scene in Arizona for 4 years now, they have certainly developed a reputation for being very raw and original with their music. At the same time they give the amount of respect needed to those who have made rock what it is. Their sound has a punk backbone with metal guitar riffs and driving drums which has been demonstrated in their latest record, flagpole.....after hours. This record gives a very unigue sound that reaches much depth through singer/songwriter chris' vocals and the music as a whole. The record was produced, recorded and mixed by the surgeon generals. The band has had many different bass players in the last few years. Mike Ribaudo, who has finally completed what is now the surgeon generals, joined the band 3 years ago. Chandler is their home town.
