Artist History
Fullproof is a cutting edge alternative rock band fresh to the Pittsburgh scene. It consists of Jeff Scheuring on rhythm guitar and lead vocals, Tyler S. Benson on Bass and backing vocals, Grant Scheuring on lead guitar and backing vocals, and Donnie Morris on drums and percussion. The band has been lifetime friends and band mates in such groups as the original Foolproof, top Pitt-ska act The Irritating Stick, and Fusing Tone there is great chemistry and efficiency within. Far Away From now is the group’s first full-length recording. It was recorded in early 2002 at Mr. Small’s Fun House and is soon to be released. The album has a solid modern sound with diverse emotional appeal. Combining sentimental song writing, blazing guitar riffs, a nice full bottom, and a driving beat this collaboration has a little something for everybody. Fullproof is planning a very busy spring and summer schedule in support of their recent efforts. Already playing shows for current fan bases in Pittsburgh, Ohio, and West Virginia they are ambitiously looking to expand further with full force. Watch www.fullproof.info to see if they are playing at your favorite club, bar, party, or event in upcoming months and sample the new single “Anything and Everything” which is also making its way to many local radio stations. A typical set includes all of the new original material and a large diverse list of covers spanning the last three decades to set the mood for any occasion and amount of time.
