Group Members
Jason Ross, original founder of the band, had his musical background begin in sunny Santa Barbara, California, where his tastes led him toward the original hard core Punk scene. His bass playing, an in your face, thump your head style gives the music an uncompromising strength that any audience cannot deny.
Jon Griffis, guitar player for Blissful Myth, has served over 20 years time slashing the 6-string in New Mexico, California and Colorado, with his main musical influences being in heavy metal. His original style, full of enticing rhythms and searing leads, give the tunes the power to entrance all that listen.
King Michael, vocalist and front man for The Myth, proves to be the center-stage show that you cannot take your eyes off of. Born in Boston, MA, he brings in a great variety of tastes from Hendrix to trance to funk. His catchy melodies and poetic lyrics create the solid framework for the journey that is Blissful Myth.
Drummer John Stump, whose experience is beyond that of the rest, is the rock behind the rhythm. Stumpy as he is known, get his hard hitting, double bass style from his experience in various heavy and death metal bands as he grew up in Indiana. His aggressive and unique rhythms help The Myth to stand apart from all other heavy alternative acts.
