Artist description
Memorably described by Kerrang! as having 'a sharp funky edge with bags of cool melodies', Mother Mary formed in 1993 and intensive gigging combined with a reputation as groove based songwriters and an ear for a good melodic hook, quickly led to support tours with the likes of Whitesnake, Zakk Wylde and G.U.N. before they split in 1995.
After a six-year hiatus, they're back at their spiritual home for a complete one-off.
So if you like your grooves mixed with crunchy riffs from the Zeppelin / Kravitz / Prince end of the rock spectrum.
It's the place to be... |

Press Reviews
Mother Mary formed in 1993, and quickly garnered rave reviews from the rock press for their live shows fronted by Dave Lambert 'not exactly a shy and retiring type!'. Their 'Truth' CD was released to critical acclaim shortly after and Kerrang described the five piece as having 'a sharp funky edge with bags of cool melodies'.
Intensive gigging and a growing reputation as groove based songwriters, with an ear for a good melodic hook, quickly led to support tours with the likes of Whitesnake, Zakk Wylde and Gun before they split in 1995.
After a six year hiatus, they're back and Muthafunking at Fibbers 'For One Gig Only', so if you like your grooves mixed with crunchy riffs from the Zeppelin/Kravitz/Prince end of the rock spectrum, this is one you can't afford to miss- and they'll be throwing in some new stuff too! Killer night out anybody?
