Artist History I've been doing electronic music since 1996. I started out like most electronic musicians, with trackers. My studio has grown since, and my music too, I hope. :) Nowadays I use audio/midi multitrack software to write and record music. The sounds are produced with hw synths and some sw too. In the summer 1998 I started to work with finnish dance-artist Antti Jakola. Since then we've been doing tracks for his eurodance-group Candyman. I've been keeping these two projects apart, as my own tracks are more in the melodic trance / club-music category. Lately I've started to get more and more into some other styles as well. I'm hoping to develop my own style by combining sweet trance melodies with some electronic beats and fatter hip-hop breaks etc. However, Dj Mik is still mostly a melodic trance project. Let's see in what direction it will grow. Stay tuned! :)
