Music Style Emotionally Charged Punk Rock

Artist History Pete Green, Chris Smith and Adam Robinson through the misfortune of being raised in a hole in the ground (that is Halifax, West Yorkshire), were literally thrown together in a damp and fungi infested practice room with their instruments and told “play”. Through sheer boredom (which later became sheer determined passion) was fused the emotionally charged rock act, which soon after, violently erupted and became punk band that is Zedisforzebra. With high amounts of effort and inspiration Zedisforzebra produced and still produce their own distinctive yet innovative material, which has developed into a fast and furious blend of punk rock with heavy emo overtones, following their many musical influences such as NoFx, Box Car Racer, Jimmy Eat World and Weezer. Their live performances draw people in out of sheer fascination and audiences are rarely disappointed with the trio’s even mix of highly energised, low witted, vibrant and sporadic show along with eye-catching yet senseless stage antics. The songs themselves blast the crowd with power packed chords, bad-ass bass riffs and dramatic drum sequences topped off with staggeringly catchy melody and harmony lines. Zedisforzebra have spent the whole of 2002 accumulating a vast and varied fan-base up and down the country. In 2002 London, Birmingham, Leeds, Huddersfield, Shropshire, Cheltenham and Worcester were among the towns and cities that we bombarded with the bands presence. Venues such as The Garage, Islington and Leeds’s Cockpit were ravaged and left changed by the Zebra’s.� What next? At only 18, Zedisforzebra’s youthful and diligent commitment to their band means that they only improve with age. Whether in song writing, stage presence or general attitude, the boys strive to become even better at what they do, being never satisfied with what they have already done. They now look to their future career in the music industry and aim for success as a band. Althought the stage show and music is in places light hearted and humorous, their sincerity and dedication in their musical future is second to nothing.
