Artist History Started as a project of Josh Cruzan and Gabe Davis in the summer of '97. Failing to find other members after posting flyers, they started making demos of songs they had written. With 7 songs on the demo, they handed them out to local musicians, 2 of which happened to be drummer Harold Houser and guitarist Joe Hoctor. After hearing the demo in February '01, Joe and Harold decided to leave their former band, Reverence, which was proceeding in a direction they were not pleased with and join Within The Flesh. After playing a few local gigs, Within the Flesh went into Private Studios in Urbana, Illinois, and recorded a 3 song demo called "Demented Fantasies". which is available upon request by e-mailing: Withintheflesh@aol.com
