Artist History John had a dream and the dream was to have a punk band outta high School, comin from a military school NMMI, he found his bass player Stevo, and drummer Mark, from there endevors at NMMI. After a couple of years they were playing house partys with songs like " Red tape Finish Line", "Baggage", "Question", "Night Before", Etc. Along came Vince and Jeremy. They were a crazy bunch from Las Cruces NM. Vince started playing Bass, stevo went happily to guitar and Jeremy went up as the front man. They began playing the Albuquerque clubs with a steady increase in fans and graditude. john is no longer the only songwriter...Stevo has written,"Deliverence", "Just A Man", and "Fuel to the Fire" Vince has written the morbid but very energetic song "Rots" and the fast paced anthem in hopes to end racism "Segregator" Stevo was born in the Czech Rebublic. the song "The United" Is half Czech and half English. Last, Mark, the drummer, had a sudden change of heart and quit the band shortly after their release of their Demo. The same day that mark quit, they ran across a 19 year old dude from Georgia and asked if he knew how to play the drums. Matt has been play with The United since August 2001, and recorded their EP Run For Cover and their new full length "Out Of Sight, Out of Mind). Matt (after a year of playing) returned home to Georgia to help his family. Jeremy a.k.a. the man in black is quite an interesting fellow. You have to see him, its hard to describe. The latest addition to the band is their new (and hopefully forever) drummer Noah Leen. Noah has come out of Silver City, NM and is working hard to learn their old songs... plus, beginning to work out The United's new set... cheers!
