Their family group, "The Murphys" performed over 1500 shows throughout the western U.S. and Canada and thousands of CDs were produced and sold out of their traveling motor home/studio. During these years, Taryn's wealth of experience on stage and in the studio combined to create an artist equally at home in both venues. Her interest in both songwriting and producing grew to become an integral part of her artistry. Since moving to Nashville in 1997, Taryn's eclectic influences have merged to define an artist whose musical personality projects both the cutting edge of today's pop culture and the artistry of great singer songwriters of the past.
