Artist History
Los Federales begins as a studio project for Bay Area students Peter Brambl, Chloe Conger, and Rob Weber.
A guest appearance at the Bantu Mystic Circus festival in San Francisco inspires the crowd to join the band in a tent for a 20-minute James Brown medley.
Los Federales travels to Los Angeles for another appearance with the Bantu Circus. The band appears on the second stage with guitarist Tony Khalife and an six-person percussion section. Halfway through the set, the LAPD brings a helicopter and several fire engines to bust the party (for lack of permits). Several hours later, Peter wakes up in the back seat of his car, spooning his drum set. Los Federales begin work on a first album.
Peter and Chloe move to Los Angeles. The first album, "Cada Uno Lleva Su Cruz," is completed and released independently.
Los Federales is busy writing new material and rehearsing with a talented new team in LA. Expect a new EP and some exciting live shows in the spring. |
