Artist History
New York City-based Field Trip is a fun, ferocious, four-piece that combines hooky guitar parts, catchy choruses, and soaring harmonies to create their own brand of powerful pop. Masterminded by Cord Weiss, whose influences include everything from 70’s glam rock (New York Dolls, T.Rex, Ziggy Stardust) to pop punk (Green Day, The Muffs, The Ramones). Field Trip is “more punky than Weiss’ usual bubblegum pop leanings, but with more sugar than a five-pound bag of Dixie Crystals (Creative Loafing, Atlanta).†|
