Artist History
I can't remember quite how it started, but it was the workings of the gods that put the two of them together. The session happened at the University of Florida recording studios after a long, unappreciated gig. They let the tape roll until the music told them to stop. Mr. Mackie welcomed more tracks and donny & joe provided. It lasted until the early morning hours. I'm not sure whether either of them realized what had truly taken place, but they both avowed to turn back the wheels of time and recreate the magic the following weekend. What ensued is a total unabashed look at the relationship between men, women, and the state of the tuba. |
