Artist History Biography Forming in the fall of 2000, 5 guys from LaGrange, Ohio decided it was time to take their years of practice to the stage.Creating enough songs to play a 40 minute set of destroying music didn't take long and with the support of many friends and fans, Xero entered the "Cleveland Metal" scene. Throughout 2001 Xero played in front of 300 - 1500 people each show in some of Cleveland's finest venues.Opening for bands such as Sepultura, Hatebreed, and Mushroomhead proved to be well worth the exposure.Xero released a non-published CD that year and it was played on major college radio stations through Ohio as well as sold at all the band's shows. By the end of 2001 Xero had undergone a change in the line up.The original singer, Sorin Gabor and guitarist, Brian Andrews left the band due to difference in musical direction.Wanting more of a grindcore/death sound, Xero welcomed former Handfedhate frontman Justin Pasadyn to the band.In just days Xero had been reborn adding new guitarist Josh Pitz.Original members include Justin Larkins on drums, Nate Morgan on bass, and Tim Quillen on samples and effects. In a matter of only 3 months the band had managed to advance drastically in musical creation and the ability to gain crowd acceptance seemed easier than ever as they took to the stage for the first time as the "new" Xero. Having many gigs under their belt now, the band went back into the studio to produce a 2 song sampler for the upcoming full length.The disc has already generated quite a buzz after being distributed to people around the scene and it is available at all of Xero's shows for free. The future goals for Xero are to work extremely hard on music that is deemed marketable from a "metal" standpoint and to play as many shows as it takes to get the name out across the country.
