Martin Buff is a classically trained pianist who started writing his own music in college. His music has been described as being an elegant mixture of jazz and folk. "Thoughtful and mood inspiring," an "incredible and emotional touch at the keyboard." His first album, My Journey, contains a variety of tracks, from jazz oriented to movie soundtrack melodies. Artist History
Martin lived all over the United States and overseas as the child of an Air Force family. His family mainly settled in the Seattle area, and after getting his undergraduate music degree from the University of Washington, he attended the Manhattan School of Music in NYC. Martin then moved on to live and work in Seattle, Austin and Boston (where he attended the Berklee College of Music). Soon he will be making his home in Albuquerque/Santa Fe, a place of great beauty and inspiration (and some killer skiing!). His new album will be released shortly. |
