Artist History
Lucian S. Tu was born an only child on January 18, 1975 in Santa Barbara, California. In his youth Lucian showcased exceptional talent in both visual art and music. In his early teens Lucian discovered the electric guitar. Soon after, guitar became an everyday obsession. Lucian's musical explorations ranged from rock, classical, blues, and metal.
Lucian holds a bachelor of science degree in Product Design with honors from the Art Center College of Design.
Lucian's professional career began in the medical device and diagnostic industry with over a half dozen products to his credit. Lucian has also been a design consultant to numerous clients ranging from Fortune 500 to entrepreneurial startups. Equipped with professional experience in design and an extensive background as a musician, Lucian pursued his interests in the musician industry.
Currently Lucian manages an industrial design department in a musical instrument company called Line 6. Line 6 is the world leader in digital modeling and guitar technology. |
