Artist description
With a sparse texture created by guitar, bass, drums, and three voices, Lesterjett plays melodic, catchy songs with echoes of the Police, Radiohead, Weezer, the Beatles and Elvis Costello.
Lesterjett was formed in 2000, when Alexi and Zack, who had been playing together in bands since the third grade, joined forces with Iain, their music theory teacher at UC Santa Cruz.
They have since been playing to a growing fan base in Santa Cruz and the San Francisco Bay Area. Their recent shows have included the Catalyst in Santa Cruz, the Hotel Utah in San Francisco, the Starry Plough in Berkeley, and Molly Malone's in LA. |
