Artist description Cynec began with Jeramie, Jim, and Javier, just messing around in Jims room once a month way back in the first cold month of 2000. When the boy's grew out f the tiny practice area they moved to Jeramie's garage were they realized that their jam sessions could actually turn into a band. Then they started practicing more often and auditioning bassists. After about 6-7 months the band with no name slowed down with he practices and Javier stopped going to practices. Jeramie and Jim kept on playing and they also tried out a new singer, Chris. Eventually they couldn't decide who would be better for the spot in the band because both singers had very different stiles of singing. Finally they decided on keeping both of them and split up the lyrics, creating the original sound the band has now. Still the band had no bassist, but they had decided on a name, Cynec. Eventually they started playing shows, their first was at the Pharm with Chumley's Toy and Ira Motive in February of 2001. Cynec played a few more shows, asking for bassists to play at the very last minute, even performing a show with out one at one point. Finnally, after some problems the current bassist is Nick, a newbie in Cynec, joined the band in late December 2001.
